What We Will Cover

Workshop for early childhood educators including family child care educators exploring belonging, peace education and family partnerships. Walking away with practical strategies for inclusive communication.

By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

Foster a sense of belonging in the classroom by identifying daily practices that help every child and family feel recognized and valued from day one.

Apply core principles of peace education in the early childhood classroom, using age-appropriate strategies to nurture empathy, respect, and social-emotional skills in young children.

Build genuine partnerships with families: collaborative relationships using inclusive communication strategies to ensure families of all backgrounds, home languages, and family structures feel welcome and heard.
