Educators for Peaceful Classrooms and Communities, the leading peace training organization for EC educators, offers this limited-time free workshop!

Using Zoom’s Language Interpretation feature, our workshop will be presented in both English and Spanish. Participants can choose their language choice once logged into the meeting. Simultaneous translation services generously provided by Orange County Child Care Association.

About the Workshop

The fourth Anti-Bias Goal is Activism. What Does that mean for three year olds, for busy families and educators? What does that mean for directors and administrators?

Join us for an in-depth look with lots of stories of ordinary people, children, accomplishing Advocacy for themselves and others.

  • Advocating and Helping Families to Advocate for their children: Resources, Code of Ethical Conduct

  • Teaching and helping children advocate for themselves and others: What does that look like from infancy to Kindergarten

Meet the Presenters

  • Gaby Litsky

    PRESENTER

    Lifelong early childhood educator, in the field over 50 years. Specialist in Peace Education, Anti Bias Curriculum, trainer for EPCC. Presenter: NAEYC, CAAEYC. Retired from UCSC Childcare and Education Services. Director Jane Addams Peace Camp 21 years.

  • Lola Cornish

    PRESENTER

    Lola M Cornish has been in the ECE field for 35 years. Lola is in NAEYC, serving on local boards, conference committee and as chapter representative on the CAAEYC board and President of the Sacramento Valley Chapter. A graduate of Pacific Union College, she now works in peace education and building community resilience.
